Job Posting: Director of Benefits

Summary

Our client has an outstanding opportunity for a permanent Director of Benefits who can be a strategic thought leader that develops, implements and maintains the company’s benefit programs. ($140- $150K) – Enfield area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that regional benefit programs support the company’s philosophy, strategies and business objectives.
  • Recommend cost effective strategies for existing and new benefits
  • Work across organizational levels and develops benefit programs and processes to ensure internal equity and process efficiency
  • Provide leadership, guidance and direction to management regarding benefit plan design, implementation and administration
  • Oversee the development and implementation of benefit tools, systems and technology to support the benefits function
  • Manage, coach and develop the Benefits team

Job Qualifications

  • Depth of knowledge in benefit plan design, theories and common practices and their administration
    In-depth exposure to HR disciplines outside of Benefits and the broader HR strategy
  • Strong employment law knowledge
  • Excellent comprehension of industry issues and business trends
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of finance/corporate planning processes and company strategy
  • Effectively communicates highly complex ideas to Benefits team
  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of diplomacy, and able to deal with and influence people at all levels
  • Expertise in working with Microsoft Excel
  • Global mindset and cultural sensitivity essential
  • Demonstrable experience of having achieved long-term change
