
Job Posting: Director, Compensation, Benefits & HRIS – Western Massachusetts
Gatti & Associates has been retained by a global consumer packaged goods corporation. Headquartered in western Massachusetts, They are seeking a Director of Compensation, Benefits & HRIS. With a growing nationwide base of over 500 company-owned retail stores, a vibrant and growing catalog and online business, an expanding North American wholesale customer network (including approximately 19,100 specialty retailers in the U.S.), a Fund-Raising division, and international distribution and revenue of nearly $1billion. The Company is a major subsidiary of a Fortune 500 Corporation who is a leading provider of a diverse range of consumer products with a portfolio of over 120 trusted, quality brands sold globally.
Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Director of Compensation, Benefits & HRIS Resources (Director) will lead the strategy, research, implementation, communication and overall management of the company’s compensation programs, as well as the communication and delivery of all benefits and HRIS related services. The successful candidate will manage across the matrix environment, working with corporate and internal stakeholders to execute both short and long-term objectives. This will require a pro-active, hands-on approach to the development, presentation and implementation of recommendations & strategies that are aligned with the company’s financial and business objectives.
The Director will manage the design and administration of the Company’s compensation programs, ensuring the total rewards of base pay, incentive pay, and long-term rewards, are aligned with business objectives and overall corporate goals and strategies. In addition, the Director actively manages the Company’s benefit and services across the business unit, pro-actively working with the corporate benefits team to ensure timely communication and implementation of benefits and services.
He/she is also responsible for oversight and execution of all HRIS systems, aligning as necessary and appropriate with the Corporate HRIS team. Leveraging system capability to drive efficiency, reduce costs and automate processes to ensure seamless delivery/execution of employee self-service, employee performance reviews and overall data processing, while working with internal stakeholders within IT and Payroll to ensure security and integrity of data.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience managing within the Compensation, Benefits & HRIS areas. He/she will have a demonstrated record of success in a multi-site, multi-state business, with direct experience in the creation, development and execution of sales incentives and variable pay plan development. Domestic and international experience is a requirement. The ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced environment, driving multiple and competing priorities, with a pro-active, high-energy approach is key to success in this role. Proven experience in planning, budgeting and forecasting experience and sound business leader.
CCP designation highly desired. CEBS, CBP and/or. PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or related Master’s degree is preferred.
