The Alignment Between Healthy Retirement Outcomes for Employees and Healthy Business Outcomes for Employers

The Colonial Total Rewards Association (CTRA) is pleased to host an important and relevant topic on January 14, 2015. For this event, CTRA invited an expert from MassMutual Financial Group’s Retirement Services Division, Thomas Cremona, to share his thoughts on the mutual interest for individuals and organizations to help employees prepare for a secure retirement.

Today’s Employee Benefit Professionals are faced with constant challenges and demands with respect to the most efficient and effective use of precious employer dollars. With the escalation of health and disability costs coupled with an aging workforce, a perfect storm scenario is being created. The key to long-term business success is balancing short-term budget concerns, with longer term strategic goals and the inevitability of an older workforce. This presentation will focus on the need for real life data to address these opportunities and the critical need to provide every employee the chance to retire on their own terms. The overall health of every business depends on it.

Who Should Attend: Total Rewards Professionals

Attendees should join who are seeking practical approaches to address these dynamics and build better outcomes for employers and employees. Hear thoughts on what employers can do to help employees overcome inertia/procrastination, loss aversion and lack of long-term focus.
