Untapped Potential: A Compensation Practitioner’s Guide to Using Excel to Save Time & Increase Effectiveness

Session Description: In this 1-hour skill-building seminar facilitated by compensation practitioner, Katie Bowling, you will learn how to unlock the power of Microsoft® Excel® to save you time and increase your effectiveness.

Specific areas of focus will include:

  • Organizing data in Excel – for compensation budgeting
  • Using Lookup functionality – to automate refreshes of payroll data and regression testing
  • Creating PivotTables to analyze and/or summarize data – analysis of pay for impact of pay structure

This session will stress both functionality and practical advice for compensation practitioners who want to upgrade and improve their Excel skills in their daily responsibilities.

You are encouraged to bring questions—they will be answered either during or after the session.
